Draft:100 Cooks
Submission declined on 18 June 2026 by ChrysGalley (talk). I am not sure if this was submitted again in error, but the previous issues remain: two sections and unfinished, and if there is notability, which is open to question at this stage, then it will be the reception area that may give a pathway.

100 Cooks is an American competitive cooking television series that premiered on Food Network in June 2026. The series is hosted by Terry Crews and judged by celebrity chef Alex Guarnaschelli and YouTube culinary creator Nick DiGiovanni. The show was described by Food Network as the “biggest home cook competition” in the network’s history, featuring 100 of the best amateur home cooks in america competing in a large-scale culinary arena for a grand prize of possibly over $100,000.[1]
The contestants face numerous unpredictable cooking challenges throughout the day, but only a certain number of randomly selected contestants are called down to cook. Each week, a number of contestants are eliminated and the cooks that remain advance to the next round.[1]
The cash prize for 100 cooks is the largest in Food Network history: $250,000.[2]
Production
The first season lasted from June 7, 2026 and ended on July 19, 2026.[3][4]
Format
Before the season begins, 100 cooks are selected out of thousands of applicants, chosen because they "live to cook".
In each episode, competitors are selected via a lottery ball device called the "Cook Mixer," which randomly determines which contestants will participate in that round. The challenge itself is similarly determined by chance through a separate "Challenge Mixer," which assigns the food-themed battle the selected competitors must complete.[5]The number of contestants eliminated each round and time limit are determined based on the challenge.
Completed dishes are evaluated by a panel of two judges: Nick DiGiovanni and Alex Guarnaschelli. Based on their assessments, the judges determine which competitors advance in the competition and which are eliminated. The competitor who cooks the best dish in a round will earn immunity for the rest of the episode. Everyone else who advances is safe but may be called up to compete again that same episode.[5]
