History

3 Sided Cube was founded in 2009 by Duncan Cook in Bournemouth. The company began as a general web-development agency and later extended their services to include mobile app and AI-powered workflow development; alongside narrowing their focus onto projects they described as “tech for good".[1]

In 2014, the American Red Cross commissioned 3 Sided Cube to create a suite of mobile apps supporting natural-disaster preparation as well as health initiatives. One of these, the Blood Donor App, allowed users to book and track blood donations in the United States. By 2017 it had one million downloads and received the 2016 Webby Award for "best health app".[2][3]

3 Sided Cube has collaborated with organisations including the World Resources Institute, the American Red Crossand The Virtual Doctors charity.[2][4]
