APatch is a free and open-source kernel-based root solution for Android devices.[1] It functions similarly to Magisk and KernelSU, combining Magisk's boot.img installation method with KernelSU's kernel-level patching approach.[2][3]

Apatch only supports Android kernel versions 3.18 - 6.12[1]

APatch uses a password-like credential called SuperKey to decide which apps get root access. The user creates the key during setup. Unlike Magisk, which asks the user to approve each app individually, SuperKey checks permissions inside the kernel.[3]
