Álex Vicent Massa Guevara (born 13 November 2003) is a Portuguese-Canadian professional footballer who plays as a winger and attacking midfielder for CF Esperança d'Andorra in the Primera Divisió.
Early life
Massa was born in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, to a Peruvian mother and a Canadian father of Portuguese descent.[1]
Club career
Early career
Massa developed through youth football in Portugal before moving into senior football in Spain.
Real Avilés
In 2022, Massa joined Spanish club Real Avilés after progressing through the youth system of CD 26 de Febrero.[2]
Finland
Massa later moved to Finland, where he played for Kajaanin Haka and KPV.[3]
During his time with Kajaanin Haka, Massa made 8 appearances and scored 3 goals.
CF Esperança d’Andorra
In September 2025, Massa signed for Andorran Primera Divisió club CF Esperança d'Andorra.[4]
During the 2025–26 season, he made senior appearances in both the Primera Divisió and the Copa Constitució.[5]
International career
Eligible to represent Portugal, Canada, and Peru internationally, Massa has attracted media attention regarding his international future.[6]
Peruvian media previously described Massa as a potential future option for the Peru national football team due to his Peruvian heritage.[7]
