In April 2021, Mirvis was one of the named plaintiffs in a proposed federal class-action lawsuit concerning a data incident involving GEICO.[18]

Bloomberg Law reported that the lawsuit accused GEICO of failing to adequately protect driver's-license information from unauthorized access and identified Mirvis as a plaintiff who alleged that the exposed information could facilitate fraud.[18]

The action was filed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York and was subsequently consolidated into In Re GEICO Customer Data Breach Litigation.[19]

In an August 2023 decision concerning the consolidated litigation, the district court noted that the operative consolidated complaint was being pursued by other named plaintiffs and granted GEICO's request to dismiss Mirvis and two other earlier plaintiffs from the action.[20]
