Alexander Tchukharev (born 2009) is a Canadian artist and filmmaker. Raised in Montreal, Quebec, Tchukharev has been practicing many different forms of art for many years, such as drawing, painting, and filmmaking.
Growing up in Montreal, Alex worked with both traditional and digital forms of art, developing skills in visual arts and video production. Alongside drawing and painting, he began creating short films, combining elements of design, and cinematography. His artistic interests expanded through independent and personal projects with different creative tools and techniques.
Projects
Alex has worked on many creative projects, both independently and through school-related productions. Among these are two short films titled Les Heures Perdues and Suite. In Les Heures Perdues (“The Lost Hours”). The project shows his interest in storytelling and atmosphere.
Les Heures Perdues is a short film in which Alexander Tchukharev contributed in several roles. Tchukharev served in roles including writing, visual effects directing, practical effects directing, and editing the film. The film was screened as part of the Multiples dimensions program at the Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal in August 2025.[1][2]
