Arthur Strawn (September 29, 1900-?) was a writer of plays, screenplays, and stories in the United States. After starting out at a newspaper, he also wrote books.
He was born in New York City. He attnded high school in St. Louis and graduated from Washington University of St. Louis. He wrote for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and moved to New York City to be its correspondent. He also wrote books and for magazines.[1]
He wrote the play Sleep No More with fellow screenwriterLee Loeb.[2] It was staged in 1944.[3] He also wrote a play titled Lady in Distress.[1]

He lived at 7270 Woodrow Wilson Drive.[1]
During World War II he served at a military film unit.[1] In 1951 he testified at a hearing on Communist infiltration in Hollywood. He was questioned about his work with Lester Cole.[4]
