Assetz Property Group is a privately held real estate development company headquartered in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The company develops residential communities, plotted developments, and mixed-use townships primarily within Bengaluru. As of 2025, Assetz has a portfolio spanning approximately 50 million square feet of developed and ongoing projects, encompassing around 24,000 units across more than 50 projects.[1][2]

History

Assetz Property Group was founded in 2006.[3]

The company initially focused on commercial real estate, developing properties including Vrindavan Tech Village (which later became part of Embassy Tech Village), Global Tech Park, Thimphu Tech Park, and Assetz House. Over subsequent years, the company transitioned its primary focus to residential real estate.[4]

Between 2023 and 2025, Assetz acquired 16 land parcels totalling more than 200 acres in Bengaluru, representing a Gross Development Value (GDV) of approximately ₹15,000 crore. The company planned to develop over 15 million sq ft of saleable area and more than 7,500 homes from this land bank.[5][6]

Operations

Assetz's developments are concentrated in Bengaluru's primary residential growth corridors — North, South, and South-East Bengaluru. The company employs a joint development model, partnering with landowners, and operates across three development categories: residential apartment townships, plotted communities, and mixed-use projects.[7][8]

Assetz has attracted institutional capital from global investors. The company raised approximately ₹1,000 crore for residential projects in 2018, and has been reported to have partnerships with international financial institutions.[9]

Standard features across developments under this programme include rainwater harvesting, dual-piping with treated water reused for landscaping, on-site sewage treatment plants, organic waste converters, solar-powered common area lighting, and sun-path analysis used in building orientation to maximise natural ventilation.[20][21]
