Bec Sutton is an Australian politician, and has represented the district of Collton in the South Australian House of Assembly since the 2026 state election. Sutton is a member of the Liberal Party.

Career

Sutton was selected as the Liberal candidate for Colton at the 2026 South Australian state election. She replaced retiring MP Matt Cowdrey, a former Paralympian who first won Colton for the Liberal Party in 2018.[1][2] As part of the campaign in Colton, the Liberal Party proposed a sand pumping pipeline from Largs Bay to West Beach.[3] Sutton opposed a Labor Party proposal to dredge sand at West Beach, saying it would detract "from the natural beauty of the coastline".[4]

Sutton was successful at the 2026 state election, and was elected as MP for Colton.
