Benjamin A. Johnson (December 23, 1887 – October 22, 1943)[1] was an American lawyer who served as a justice of the Maryland Court of Appeals from 1934 to 1943.[2][3]
"He was born at Wango, in this county, in 1888. He was graduated from Washington College in 1911 and from Baltimore Law School in 1912, being admitted to the bar in March, 1913".[1]
"Benjamin A. Johnson, recently elected chief judge of the First Judicial Circuit will succeed Judge John R. Pattison".[4]
He married Ethel Holloway, with whom he had two sons and two daughters. He died at his home in Salisbury, Maryland, at the age of 55.[1]
