Bluffton Icon
The Bluffton Icon (BlufftonIcon.com) is a news website serving the village of Bluffton, Ohio and the nearby villages of Pandora and Mt. Cory. The Bluffton Icon is a free news service supported by local advertising. Content is updated daily.
History
The Bluffton Icon was created in 2009 by founder Fred Steiner[1], a former editor of the Bluffton News. Steiner created the Ada Icon in 2012.
In 2021, the websites were sold to Ryan and Gayle Lowry[2], and then to Paula Pyzik Scott. Scott is the former director of the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce and Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs.
Bluffton's print weekly, The Bluffton News, discontinued publication in the summer of 2025, according to Bluffton University archives.
