Brahiron Patricio Chávez Pérez (born December 9, 1999), known professionally as Bray On, is a Chilean pop and romantic ballad singer-songwriter. His music incorporates Latin pop, R&B, and urban music.^[1] On September 30, 2025, he released his debut EP, Diamante, produced by Mexican musician and producer Kiko Cibrián, known for his work with artists including Luis Miguel, Cristian Castro, Jesse & Joy, and Reik.^[2]

Bray On was born in Antofagasta and grew up in Taltal, in the Antofagasta Region. From a young age, he showed an interest in music and, during his adolescence, joined local groups before becoming the lead vocalist of the Chilean tropical band La Noche at the age of 16. He remained with the band for three years, participating in national and international tours while gaining experience in live performance and songwriting.^[1]

During the COVID-19 pandemic, he began promoting his music independently through TikTok and by performing in the Santiago Metro.^[3][4]

In 2021, he competed in the television talent competition Got Talent Chile^[5], where he became a finalist and subsequently signed with Universal Music.^[6] Under the label, he released the single "Beba".^[6]

Between 2021 and 2024, he independently released a series of singles exploring genres including bachata, pop, and urban music. During this period, he also recorded several cover songs, including "Nada cambiará mi amor por ti" ("Nothing's Gonna Change My Love for You"), originally performed by George Benson, and "Ángel", originally by Jon Secada. Among his original compositions are "Amándote" and "Te Vas Porque Tú Quieres."

In 2024, he released the singles "Un Audio" and "Morfina", followed by "No Me Digas No" in early 2025. These releases marked a stylistic shift toward pop that preceded the release of his debut EP, Diamante.

In November 2024, a video of Bray On performing Luis Miguel's "Entrégate" in the Santiago Metro went viral on social media. The recording attracted widespread attention in Chile and abroad, contributing to the growth of his public profile.^[7]

Later that year, he joined the television talent show Mi Nombre Es, broadcast by Televisión Nacional de Chile, where he competed as an impersonator of Mexican singer Luis Miguel. After advancing to the final, he won the competition through a public vote on March 13, 2025.^[8]

In June 2025, Bray On traveled to Guadalajara, Mexico, to record the songs for his debut EP, Diamante, at Cibrián Studios.^[9] The EP features original compositions by Bray On as well as songs by guest songwriters, all produced by Mexican musician and producer Kiko Cibrián.^[10]

On August 7, 2025, the lead single, "Ríndete", written by Miguel Lizana, was released alongside its official music video.^[11] It was followed by "Dime Quién Te Hizo Pensar", written by Bray On, on August 28.^[12] On September 30, the third single, "Alto Voltaje", written by Mónica Vélez, was released simultaneously with the EP.^[9]

In late 2025, Bray On launched the musical project 9D with his brother, Bastián Chávez, with whom he has also collaborated as a songwriter. On February 14, 2026, the duo released the single "Talismán". This was followed by "Quiero Un Amor", released in March 2026 as part of the project.^[13]

In April 2026, Bray On appeared as a guest performer during Chilean singer Luis Jara's concert at Gran Arena Monticello, held as part of the opening of the Más Que Suerte Tour. His appearance followed public requests on social media, which Jara later acknowledged. During the concert, the two artists performed "Tú, que te vas" together.^[14]

Following his victory on Mi Nombre Es, Bray On gave his first solo concert on March 14, 2025, at Teatro Oriente in Providencia, Santiago. Between April and August of that year, he toured Chile, performing at theaters and concert venues across the country.^[15][16]

On November 1, 2025, Bray On presented his first major solo concert at Teatro Caupolicán in Santiago to mark the release of his debut EP, Diamante. The concert featured a repertoire combining his earlier singles with songs from the EP, as well as his own interpretations of works by artists who have influenced his career. The concert was attended by approximately 4,000 people and included guest performances by Alanys Lagos and the Chilean band La Noche.^{[17][18][19][20]}

In May 2026, Bray On performed a series of concerts at Dreams Casinos in Temuco, Coyhaique, Punta Arenas, Valdivia, Iquique, and Puerto Varas as part of a nationwide tour of Chile.^[21][22]

In July 2026, Bray On made his first promotional visit to Peru, where he participated in media interviews and other promotional activities in Lima.^[23][24] During the visit, he took part in an event at Pleyling Park alongside Spanish singer Marcos Llunas.^[25]

In December 2025, Bray On was announced as part of the lineup for the 43rd Festival de la Canción Cebolla, marking the return of the event after more than two decades. He was later confirmed as the opening act for the festival's first night, scheduled for August 14, 2026. The event will be broadcast by TV+.

Bray On's musical style blends pop, romantic ballads, R&B, and elements of funk. He has cited Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, Luis Miguel, and 1990s pop groups such as the Backstreet Boys and NSYNC among his principal musical influences. He has also acknowledged the influence of K-pop, particularly BTS member Jungkook, on his artistic style and creative vision.

In addition to singing, Bray On writes his own songs and plays both guitar and piano, which serve as the foundation of his creative process. His live performances also incorporate choreography, accompanied by dancers and a live band.

Bray On participated in the 2025 Teletón, Chile's annual national charity telethon, performing during the closing night of the event on November 29 as part of a showcase featuring emerging Chilean artists alongside Nico Ruíz, Emilia Dides, and Jeremy Rojas.

He performed Myriam Hernández's "La Fuerza del Amor" live before an audience of more than 45,000 people at the Julio Martínez Prádanos National Stadium. The performance was broadcast nationwide through Chile's television networks, as well as internationally through the event's official digital platforms.

The 2025 Teletón reached more than 5.5 million viewers nationwide, making it one of Chile's most-watched television events of the year.
