Brian Altemus is an American actor. On television, he is known for his roles in the Netflix series Grand Army (2020), the Amazon Prime series Harlan Coben's Shelter (2023) and the NBC series Brilliant Minds (2025–). His films include Mean Girls.
Early life
Brian Altemus was born in Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania.
Career
Altemus gained recognition for portraying Luke Friedman in the Netflix teen drama Grand Army.[1]
In 2022, Altemus had a recurring role as Tyler Marchand in the first season of the HBO Max spinoff series Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin[2] and portrayed teen Henry DeTamble (played by Theo James as an adult) in the HBO series The Time Traveler's Wife. The following year, he starred as Troy Taylor in the Amazon Prime mystery series Harlan Coben's Shelter.[3]
In 2024, Altemus portrayed Shane Oman in the musical comedy film Mean Girls.[4][5]
He guest-starred in an episode of the ABC medical drama Doctor Odyssey in 2024.
In 2025, Altemus joined the main cast of the NBC medical drama Brilliant Minds for its second season as Dr. Charlie Porter.[6]
