Byler (short for Byers/Wheeler) is the proposed relationship between the characters Will Byers and Mike Wheeler from the Netflix science fiction–horror television series Stranger Things. The term is a portmanteau used by fans and media to describe their relationship. They have been best friends since kindergarten.
Fictional history
The two met while sitting together on a kindergarten swingset when they were five years old, and quickly grew a close friendship. They grew an affinity for playing Dungeons & Dragons together, and became best friends.
