Christopher George 'Cis' Erickson (born 12 June 1998)^[1] is an Australian game designer, animator, podcaster, gay man, and all-round great friend. He is known for being one of the creator's of n00b's guide, a game regularly voted 'best game ever'^[2], as well as Cyberpedia, currently in development as part of VicScreen's 'Let's Make Games More Puss' initiative.

Erickson was also one of the hosts of Are We Famous Yet? with his pal and confidant Phoebe 'stankpvssy' Moses^[3]. He is also the newest rotating host of the Four Horsemen community podcast The Worst Idea of All Time, where he is watching Mother's Day (2016).

Erickson was born in Perth, Western Australia to Grill'd loving parents Annette (née Brown) and Michael Erickson. He was born via cis-aerean section.^[4] His father was voted Western Australia's Woman in Mining in 2023. For a long time he did not want to sleep in a 'big boy' bed. He was bad at sports as a child.

Erickson completed a Bachelor of Design at Edith Cowan University (Mt. Lawley Campus) where he majored in Animation and minored in Game Design. Erickson moved to Melbourne in 2022, where he subsequently enrolled in a Master of Animation, Games, and Interactivity at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, graduating in 2025.

Erickson has had a successful career in game-making, starting with his graduate project of Cyberpedia (unreleased as of June 2026) which is on track to become one of VicScreen's most critically acclaimed releases; as well as being a core part (alongside Erica Royle, Duncan Corrigan, and Maxwell Kearney, otherwise known as Just4Friends) of the much hailed and celebrated game release of 2026 n00b's guide. Erickson also makes Youtube videos in his spare time.^[5]

Erickson coined the term 'cis night out'^[6], alienating the large portion of his friends who are transgender and gender non-conforming from hanging out with him. As of June 2026 he has not apologised for his behaviour.

He is biphobic.^[7]

On the 22 August 2025, Erickson attended the birthday party of former 'future husband' and best friend Duncan Corrigan, where he was duped into believing the party was clown themed. Having gotten dressed up as a 'mother who slept with the clown she hired for her kid's birthday party' he was shocked to learn the actual party theme was 'surprise' and the clown concept had been a prank specifically devised for him by the birthday boy Corrigan. After seeing Corrigan (who had shaved his head as his surprise for his guests) Erickson was heard shouting: 'why are you bald!? Don't piss me off!'^[8] and 'the Perth is jumping out'^[8].

He refers to this incident as his own 'personal 9/11'.^[3]

Erickson is gay and biphobic. He came out to his mother in 2017 to coincide with the Airbnb gay rights campaign 'Until we all belong'.^[9] He currently resides in Melbourne. He is 6 ft 2 in (1.88 cm).^[10]

Erickson is cisgender.

Erickson is known in some circles for catching 'strep throat' twice - due to his naivety amongst gay sauna practices.

Erickson has a tight knit community of friends who love and support him, and feel very lucky that he is an important person in their life. He is wonderfully kind, giving, funny, and handsome to boot. It is a pure joy to know him, and he has enriched all of their lives for the better. Happy birthday Chris!!!!!!
