Connor Graham (born 2002) is an American financial technology entrepreneur and former college football offensive lineman. He was a member of the Clemson Tigers football program and later worked with the iREIT+HOYA Capital investment-research operation before co-founding GNG Research.
Early life and athletics
Graham is from Powdersville, South Carolina. He attended Powdersville High School, where he played guard and defensive tackle in football and also competed in track and field.[1]
Graham also competed in high-school wrestling. In February 2019, he won the South Carolina Class 3A individual state championship at 285 pounds, defeating Charles Landrum of Woodruff High School 10–3 in the championship match.[2]
He returned to the Class 3A heavyweight state final in 2020, where he finished as runner-up to Will Jeffcoat of Pelion High School.[3]
Clemson University
Graham attended Clemson University, where he studied financial management.[1] He joined Clemson's football program as a walk-on offensive lineman in 2021. Clemson Athletics lists him as having contributed on the scout team during the 2021 season and having been named to the Atlantic Coast Conference Honor Roll. He did not appear in game action during the 2022 season.[1]
Graham was listed as No. 62 on Clemson's roster, at 6 feet 2 inches and 285 pounds.[1] ESPN maintained a college-football player profile for Graham as an offensive lineman for Clemson from Powdersville, South Carolina.[4] TigerNet also listed Graham as an offensive lineman on Clemson's roster.[5]
Career
Graham began his professional career in financial research and financial technology. By 2024, he was a member of the combined iREIT+HOYA Capital research operation, a real-estate investment research platform associated with Hoya Capital executives Alex Pettee and David Auerbach and iREIT founder Brad Thomas.[6]
The combined research platform focused on publicly traded real estate and incorporated both macroeconomic and company-level analysis, including interest-rate conditions, cost of capital, property-sector fundamentals, supply and demand trends, valuation, and individual REIT research.[6] Graham's work during this period also included technology and development functions supporting the firm's digital research operation.[6]
Graham later co-founded GNG Research, a financial research and financial-technology company operated by Graham and Galas LLC. At GNG Research, his work has included financial-software architecture, quantitative investment modeling, portfolio analytics, automation, and the development of research systems for analyzing securities and investment portfolios.[7]
GNG Research develops financial analysis and portfolio-analysis software for individual investors. Its platform incorporates quantitative valuation methodologies, portfolio analytics, financial data, modeling tools, and artificial-intelligence-assisted research capabilities.[7][8]
