Danny Irizarry is an American actor. He is known for portraying Michael J. Fox in reenactment scenes in the Apple TV+ documentary film Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie and for starring in the independent horror film Don't Run.
Early life and background
Irizarry grew up in Chicago and later moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting. In a 2018 profile with VoyageLA, he said he began acting in childhood and later worked in film, television, commercials, and independent productions.[1]
Career
Irizarry appeared in Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie, a 2023 documentary directed by Davis Guggenheim about the life and career of actor Michael J. Fox. In the film, Irizarry portrayed Fox in reenactment sequences. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Guggenheim discussed casting the reenactment role and said that Irizarry had the movement quality needed for the part.[2]
In 2023, Irizarry was interviewed by Casting Networks about his casting in Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie. He described playing Fox in private reenactment moments used alongside archival footage and interview material in the film.[3]
Irizarry also starred in the independent horror film Don't Run, written and directed by Ben Rood. The film received coverage from several film review outlets, including Movie Nation, Reel Reviews, Daily Grindhouse, and Red Carpet Crash.[4][5][6][7]
