Denial Records was a British independent record label active in the early 2000s. The label released records by several emerging indie bands and was involved in early recordings by Bloc Party.

History

Denial Records ran during the early to mid 2000's. Starting at by university friends Dan, Adrian and Griff in High Wycombe.

One of the earliest recordings associated with the label was the track "Storm & Stress" by Bloc Party, recorded in December 2003. The recording was later listed on the band's website as an unreleased track recorded for Denial Records.[1]

The label also released records by the English indie rock band Love Ends Disaster!. Their EP Stories for the Dislocated was issued in 2005 and reviewed by the music publication Drowned in Sound.[2]

A second EP by the band, Faster, Faster..., followed in 2006 and was also released by Denial Records.[3]

The Leeds electronic duo I Love Poland also released their debut single "Regret This / Cripple" and the EP I Love Poland through the label.[4]
