Dexory is a robotics and artificial intelligence company headquartered in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, England, with a North American office in Nashville, Tennessee. The company develops autonomous mobile robots and software for warehouse inventory management and logistics automation. It was previously known as BotsAndUs.
History
Dexory was founded in 2015 by Andrei Danescu, Adrian Negoita, and Oana Jinga, three engineers who had relocated to the United Kingdom.[1] Prior to founding the company, Danescu worked as a trackside engineer for the Force India Formula One team and in the R&D department at Jaguar. Jinga held roles at Telefonica and Google, and Negoita worked at Just Eat and IBM.[2]
The company was originally focused on the retail and hospitality sectors. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the company shifted its focus to warehouse logistics.[2] The company subsequently rebranded from BotsAndUs to Dexory.[3]
In June 2022, the company received $13 million in seed funding.[1] In June 2023, Dexory raised $19 million in a Series A funding round led by Atomico.[1] In October 2024, the company raised $80 million in a Series B funding round.[4] In October 2025, the company raised $165 million in a Series C round led by Eurazeo's Growth team, with participation from LTS Growth, Endeavor Catalyst, DTCP, Lakestar, Elaia, and Latitude Ventures.[3] In March 2026, the British Business Bank participated in a Series C follow-on round of £8.5 million.[5]
In March 2026, Dexory opened a 50,000 square foot office in Nashville, Tennessee, serving as its North American headquarters.[6]
Products and technology
Autonomous robot
Dexory produces an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) that extends to approximately 18 metres (60 feet) in height.[7] The robot navigates warehouse environments without human intervention, scanning up to 10,000 pallet locations per hour using cameras, LiDAR, temperature gauges, and humidity monitors.[8]
The next-generation robot, released in February 2026, provides scanning coverage across storage configurations including double-deep racking, block stack storage, and pick face locations.[7] The robot's sensor array was developed with reference to technology used in Formula One motorsport.[2]
Also released in February 2026 was Storage Health, a software feature that uses computer vision to identify potential issues in warehouse storage areas, including damaged racking, defective pallets, and unstable items.[7] Storage Health received the MHI Best New Innovation Award at MODEX 2026 in Atlanta, chosen from over 220 submissions.[9][10]
DexoryView
DexoryView is Dexory's warehouse intelligence software platform. It processes data collected by the autonomous robots to produce a real-time digital twin of a warehouse, allowing operators to monitor inventory location, identify discrepancies between physical stock and system records, and analyse space utilisation.[4][8] The platform integrates with existing warehouse management systems and comprises two modules: Integrity, which covers discrepancy detection, rack compliance, and storage condition monitoring; and Optimise, which covers slotting analysis and space utilisation.[6] Storage Health is a feature within the Integrity module.[7]
Reported outcomes from customers include an 80% reduction in audit time, a 20% throughput improvement, and a reduction of over 47 hours per week in manual stocktaking.[7][6]
Operations
Dexory operates from its headquarters in Wallingford, Oxfordshire and its North American office in Nashville, Tennessee, which opened in March 2026.[6] The company has deployed systems across 14 U.S. states and has operations in Canada, Australia, and Europe.[11]
Customers include GXO Logistics, Maersk, DHL, ID Logistics, Unipart, Yusen Logistics, GE Appliances, Denso, Stellantis, Menzies Aviation, and DCL Logistics.[4][3][6]
