The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2000, commonly known as E3 2000, was the fifth Electronic Entertainment Expo held. The event took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center with many press conferences held at the nearby venues such as the Regal Biltmore Hotel, from May 11–13, 2000, with 45,000 total attendees.[1]

Throughout the convention, the Philadelphia-based professional wrestling promotion Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) held several shows during at Acclaim Entertainment's booth. These matches featured professional wrestlers such as Tommy Dreamer, Steve Corino, Rhino, Simon Diamond, and Kid Kash.[4]
