El Yinker (born Jordan Elías García Pertuz, August 3, 1995) is a Colombian singer-songwriter. Known for his work in the urban champeta genre, he has achieved local and regional recognition, including winning the "Nuevas Figures" category at the Premios Luna in 2023.[1] He is known for tracks such as "El Solterito", "La vecina", "Corazón Roto", and "Juguito de amor".[2]
Life and career
Jordan Elías García Pertuz was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, on August 3, 1995. He began composing music at the age of twelve, initially experimenting with rap music before shifting focus toward commercial urban genres. In 2012, he officially began his professional musical career within the urban scene.
Following his growth in the regional independent market, El Yinker received nominations at the regional Premios Luna gala in 2021 and 2022. In late 2023, his single "La vecina" won the "Nuevas Figuras" category at the annual Premios Luna gala held in Barranquilla.[1]
In 2019, he participated in the 1st Finsocial Concert (1er Concierto Finsocial), where he received an official recognition for his participation and performance.
In 2016, he began utilizing digital distribution networks to release his material across streaming platforms, including his single "Ayer nos conocimos".
