The Model:Cycles is an FM-based groovebox that was released by Elektron on February 26th, 2020. The device has a 64-step sequencer and is designed in a near-identical way to it's predecessor, the Elektron Model:Sample.[1]. It features six tracks as well as six unique voices - Kick, Snare, Metal, Percussion, Tone, and Chord[2]
Features

When selecting a single track on the Model:Cycles, it is possible to sculpt one of six sound engines in a variety of ways. The available knobs allow for the manipulation of pitch, tone, color, shape, sweep, and contour of a single sound. There are sound effects available for every track, namely reverb, delay and distortion through the volume knob[3]. There is also an option to automate a selected sound engine, so changes can be made on every single step of a single track. [4]
