Career

Fox headed Philadelphia band, Resilient, as their songwriter. Described as "grunge-rock with modern pop undertones".[6]

Fox has participated in charitable music events connected to brain tumor awareness. In 2017, WXPN reported that she was one of the organizers of BrainFest, a Philadelphia benefit event for the American Brain Tumor Association.[7]

Fox self-released EP Your Joy and Forbidden Youth in 2018 which were described as folky pop and a departure from previous work with Resilient. [8] She has continued to collaborate with Resilient and Babe Grenade.[8][3][2]

In 2020, Fox released the single "Pictures", describing it as a bright pop sound and noting that proceeds from the track were directed to Mutual Aid Philly.[3][9]

Fox's 2021 album Fuzzy Logic was described on Bandcamp as a record about "losses and gains, insecurities, and the agony of honest feelings", with themes of communication and understanding.[10] Her 2023 EP For Your Loss was described by Fox as a work shaped by grief.[2] The single "Raised" was released on 8 March 2026, with proceeds benefiting Women Against Abuse in Philadelphia.[11]

Erin Fox and The Hounds

Fox performs with Erin Fox and The Hounds, an orchestral backing ensemble based in Philadelphia.[1][4] On her official website, the group is described as an ensemble that blends classical elements with contemporary pop songwriting; the site also states that the group has appeared at the Philadelphia Folk Festival and Musikfest.[1] The Bandcamp release Flowers From the Funeral credits Fox on guitars, vocals, and viola.[4]

Work with The Rock Orchestra

Fox has appeared as a featured vocalist with The Rock Orchestra, a production described by event organizers as a candlelit show in which 14 classical musicians perform rock and metal repertoire with amplified instrumentation.[12] Her performances with the ensemble include recorded versions of "Zombie" by The Cranberries and "Bring Me to Life" by Evanescence released through the orchestra's official YouTube channel.[5][13]

Personal life

In 2013, Fox was diagnosed with brain cancer and underwent surgery to remove the tumor.[14][8]
