Fakhri Muhammad is an Indonesian student activist, organisator. He is an undergraduate student of International Relations at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), known for his extensive involvement in student governance, community advocacy and youth leadership development.

Throughout his university years, Muhammad has actively documented and shared his leadership experiences through his Instagram account, @effakhr. He has held numerous leadership positions across student and community organizations. Within the Student Executive Board of UGM (BEM KM UGM), he served as Pers and Telecommunications Officer before being appointed General Director of Pers and Telecommunications and later Secretary General of External Affairs. His organizational experience also includes serving as Director of Relations at the Society of Renewable Energy (SRE), Chief of Social Media and Design at the Scandinavian Community, Head of Public Relations at Jamaah Muslim FISIPOL UGM, Treasurer of Majelis Mahasiswa FISIPOL UGM, and External Affairs Officer of BK MWA UM UGM. Across these roles, his work has focused on public relations, media strategy, stakeholder engagement, community outreach, and external partnerships.

Muhammad has been actively involved in organizing large-scale academic, civic, and public events. He served as Event Director of the BEM KM UGM National Seminar 2023, which brought together student executive boards and stakeholders from across Indonesia. He also led Gamalistic 2023, a journalism-focused event consisting of a national seminar, essay competition, and book fair that attracted thousands of visitors. In the sustainability sector, he chaired the National Transition Energy Talkshow, collaborating with renewable energy organizations, policymakers, and public figures to promote discussions on Indonesia's energy transition agenda.

In the field of media and communications, Muhammad became the leader of Komunitas Narasi Yogyakarta in 2025. Under his leadership, the community strengthened its position as one of the largest regional branches affiliated with Narasi TV. He has worked extensively in public relations, strategic partnerships, and stakeholder management. He served as Head of Public Relations for Indonesian Outlook 2024 and participated in several nationally recognized events like Mata Najwa and other institutions. As a Liaison Officer, he has worked directly with journalists, academics, public officials, and political leaders. His experience includes supporting high-profile programs such as Mata Najwa On-Stage and serving on the VVIP Protocol Team of the Indonesia DEI & ESG Awards 2024.

Beyond organizational leadership, Muhammad is known for emphasizing relationship-building as a catalyst for social impact. His approach combines strategic communication, coalition-building, and civic participation, with a focus on fostering sustainable collaborations among students, communities, institutions, and advocacy networks. His vision of leadership emphasizes inclusivity, dialogue, and collective action in addressing contemporary social and political challenges.

During his community service program in Raja Ampat, Muhammad initiated and founded Festival Sorai Waisai, a cultural and community-based event designed to celebrate local identity and strengthen community engagement. The festival was later institutionalized and continues as an annual event supported by the local government.

In addition to his work in public affairs and advocacy, Muhammad's interests include soft power, public diplomacy, journalism, photography, creative writing, and youth leadership development. His academic and organizational activities frequently explore the intersections of communication, civic engagement, international relations, and social change.
