Born on 22 August 2001 at Nepean Hospital in Western Sydney, Georgia Kidd is an Aboriginal choreographer, creative director, entrepreneur, and performer whose work has taken Australian talent onto stages across the world.
Raised in the small rural township of Silverdale in Western Sydney, Georgia comes from a proud Aboriginal and European family. Her mother's family belongs to the Gundungurra people of the Burragorang Valley, a heritage that continues to shape both her identity and creative vision.
Georgia attended Warragamba Public School from Kindergarten through to Year 4 before transferring to Wallacia Public School, where she completed primary school. She later attended McCarthy Catholic College (now Penola Catholic College) in Emu Plains from Years 7 to 10. At just 16 years old, she made the bold decision to leave school at the end of Year 10 to pursue a professional career in dance. Growing up, Georgia immersed herself in a variety of sports including netball, swimming, athletics, football and dance. It wasn't until the age of 12 that she discovered her true passion for dance, beginning her training at Performing Arts Western Sydney, where the foundations of her career were built.
Determined to pursue her dream, Georgia worked multiple jobs throughout her late teens—including as a receptionist, dance teacher and babysitter—to save enough money to attend full-time dance training. In 2018, she enrolled at Ettingshausen's Pro in Sydney's Sutherland Shire, where she completed a Certificate IV in Dance. Following graduation, Georgia began teaching throughout dance studios across Sydney while steadily building her reputation as a professional dancer and choreographer.
In 2021, she relocated to Brisbane to train at Homebase Dance Company, further developing her performance and creative skills. Returning to Sydney the following year, Georgia completed the Show Business course in preparation for launching her own creative production company.
On 6 June 2022, at just 20 years old, Georgia officially founded The Aux, a movement-led creative production company specialising in choreography, creative direction, movement direction, artist development and live performance production. Only eight months after launching her business, Georgia secured her first international project, choreographing, directing and producing a music video for American artist Ashthon Jones, while assembling and leading a team of six Australian dancers.
From there, Georgia's career rapidly expanded onto the international stage. In 2023, she choreographed and directed her first live performances for Jamaican artist Stefflon Don, before returning later that year for her Australian and New Zealand tour.
In 2023, Georgia auditioned and was selected to be apart of Rich Fam, a professional dance production led by renowned U.S. choreographer Rob Rich. Touring across Australia and Tasmania, the production gave Georgia the opportunity to perform alongside elite talent while further establishing her presence within the international commercial dance industry. Following the tour, Georgia travelled to the United States to further advance her training, immersing herself in the world-renowned commercial dance industry. Training with some of the industry’s leading choreographers, she continued to refine her technique, expand her versatility, and elevate her artistry on an international level.
In 2024, Georgia worked as a Dancer, Creative and Movement Director for Libianca across both her Australian and New Zealand tour before continuing with the European leg of the tour, in which she extended her stay to continue her own training and development. Later that year, she Danced, Creative and Movement Directed Shenseea on her Australian, New Zealand, Indonesia and Africa tour, with elements of the production also touring throughout the United States.
In 2025, Georgia choreographed and directed an Australian tour for Jordin Sparks, further cementing her reputation as one of Australia's emerging creative directors. Throughout her career, Georgia has collaborated with an extensive list of internationally recognised artists including NLE Choppa, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Trey Songz, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, 6lack, Fabulous, Onefour, Pania, Celly, B Wise, Alli Kate, The 046, Eria Padilla and many more, delivering choreography, movement direction, creative direction for live performances and music videos. Her work extends beyond the music industry, having collaborated with major brands including JD Sports, Sacrred, Hypnotic Heels, Red Bull, the V8 Supercars, Fervours and numerous commercial campaigns.
Georgia has also appeared in the feature film Arranged Love, while expanding into film production as Production Manager on the Australian feature film Neverland. Just as it was at the beginning of her career, teaching remains one of Georgia’s greatest passions. Alongside her work as a choreographer and creative director, she is committed to educating and inspiring the next generation of performers. Having taught at more than 60 dance schools internationally, Georgia delivers masterclasses, workshops, and industry education across Australia and abroad. She is also regularly invited to speak at industry events, where she shares her knowledge, career experiences, and insights into the entertainment industry, empowering young artists with the confidence, skills, and mindset to build successful and sustainable careers.
Today, Georgia continues to lead The Aux, employing and mentoring dancers while delivering creative productions across Australia and internationally. Her commitment to creating opportunities for emerging talent, combined with her relentless ambition and dedication to excellence, has established her as one of Australia's rising creative forces.
Driven by purpose, culture and innovation, Georgia continues to push boundaries across dance, live entertainment and creative direction, building a legacy that reaches far beyond the stage.
