Draft:Gurriers

Gurriers are a Dublin-based rock band consting of Dan Hoff (vocals), Mark MacCormack and Ben O'Neill (guitar), Charlie McCarthy (bass) and Pierce O'Callaghan (drums).

Hoff and MacCormack knew each other from work and had considered a forming a band; this project became real when the COVID-19 pandemic gave them more time.[1][2] They played their first gig at The Workman's Club in Temple Bar, Dublin in October 2021.[3]

Their first UK tour was as tour support for Enola Gay[4] and they have played with Fat Dog, Goat Girl, Kneecap and Slowdive.[1][4] The band dropped out of a slot at the South by Southwest in 2024 as part of a boycott over links with weapons manufacturers.[1]

They released their debut album Come and See in September 2024 on No Filter. It was recorded in Leeds with Alex Graves.[5][1][6][7] A second album, Nobody's Coming to Save You is due in September 2026.[8]
