HAVEN. (also typeset as HVN) is a British electronic music production duo consisting of Harrison Walker and Jacob Donaghue. They gained international attention in 2025 with their debut single "I Run", which became a viral hit on TikTok before its official streaming release.[1]
The song featured vocals recorded by Walker and processed using digital effects and the generative artificial intelligence platform Suno, sparking discussion about the role of artificial intelligence in contemporary music production.[2]
The track was released through Isekai Records, Broke Records and Against All Odds. Isekai Records is a London-based label founded in 2024 by Ewan Jenkins and Jack Mangan alongside artist RJ Pasin as a joint venture with Broke Records and Create Music Group.[3]
In late 2025, HAVEN. became involved in a legal and ethical debate surrounding artificial intelligence in music after British singer Jorja Smith and her independent label FAMM alleged that the song used AI tools to alter Walker's voice to resemble Smith's and may have been trained on her musical catalogue. The track was subsequently removed from TikTok and several streaming platforms before a re-recorded version featuring vocalist Kaitlin Aragon was released.[4]
History
HAVEN. is a music project created by British producers Harrison Walker and Jacob Donaghue. The duo released their debut single "I Run" in October 2025, which rapidly gained popularity through short-form video platforms before its official streaming release.[2]
The track achieved significant online traction, accumulating more than 110 million views on TikTok and charting on Spotify's streaming rankings, including reaching No. 11 on the platform's United States chart and No. 25 globally.[1]
Following the controversy surrounding its original version, the song was later re-recorded with vocals by singer Kaitlin Aragon and re-released on streaming platforms.[4]
In February 2026, the Aragon version of "I Run" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart, marking the first career chart-topper for both HAVEN. and Aragon. The song also charted on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs ranking.[5]
