Draft:HUB Records
HUB Records Inc. was a record label in New York City during the mid-1940s, It released 10-inch 78 RPM shellac records of jazz, blues, and gospel artists including Tab Smith's On The Sunny Side Of The Street / You're All I Need in 1945, Sunset Jubilee Singers's John On The Island / He'll Understand in 1946, Don Byas Quartet's Spots / Fruit Salad in 1946 and Mabel Scott's Just Give Me A Man / Do You Know The Game? in 1946. The pavel also released The Ravens' Bye Bye Baby Blues / Once And For All. It was at 565 Fifth Avenue in New York City.[1]
It was established by Ben Bart and Harry Lenestka and later owned by Ben Bart and Jack Pearl. Bart and Lenestka worked at the Gale Agency before establishing their own talent agencty Universal Attractions Agency.[2]
