Draft:JYT

JYT (initialism for Just Your Type) is an American pop boy band consisting of members Caden Adamonis, Tyler George, Bryan Holden Chan, Recker Eans, and Toby Green. The group was formed in 2025 and signed with Republic Records and songwriter and producer Freddy Wexler.[1][2]

History

JYT was formed through a development process involving Freddy Wexler, in which the members selected each other rather than being assembled through a traditional audition process. Before releasing music, the group trained in Los Angeles, working on vocal performance, choreography, and stage presentation.[3]

The group was announced in late 2025 following their signing with Republic Records and Wexler Records. Their formation was described as an attempt to bring back dance-focused American boy bands with influences from groups such as NSYNC and other pop groups of the late 1990s and early 2000s.[4][5]

Music career

JYT released their debut single, "What U Want", on December 5, 2025. The song was released through Wexler Records and Republic Records and marked the group's official musical debut.[6]

In January 2026, JYT released the single "Say Less". The song was produced by Oak Felder and Freddy Wexler and was accompanied by the group's first official music video.[7][8]

The group later released "No Pressure" in May 2026 following a fan vote that helped select the song's release. The track featured production from Oak Felder and Freddy Wexler.[9]
