Jason Hendrix is an American professional wrestler and actor, best known for his appearances on Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) television programming and his work on the independent wrestling circuit. He has competed for promotions including OVW, Exodus Pro Wrestling, and various independent organizations in the Northeastern United States.[1][2]
Early career
In January 2024, PWMania profiled Hendrix in a feature titled Rookie Reflections: The Jason Hendrix Story, which discussed his development as an emerging talent on the independent wrestling scene.[1] The article highlighted his training background and his early appearances in promotions across Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Kentucky.
Ohio Valley Wrestling (2023–present)
Hendrix began appearing on Ohio Valley Wrestling TV in 2023, where he competed in matches against Kal Herro and Star Rider.[3] His OVW appearances have included both regular television episodes and the promotion’s digital series.
Exodus Pro Wrestling
Following his initial work in OVW, Hendrix also competed in Exodus Pro Wrestling, an affiliate of the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) based in Cleveland and promoted by EC3.[2]
Injury and return
In 2024, Hendrix suffered a broken tibia and fibula that sidelined him from competition for several months. PWMania later reported on his comeback in an article titled Jason Hendrix: Tibia, Fibula, & The Return, which described his recovery and return to both OVW and Exodus Pro in 2025.[2]
Persona and style
Hendrix wrestles under the persona "He Is Hendrix," described as a free-spirited character who often disrupts storylines with unorthodox match styles and mind games. [1]
