Nautilus (born February 5, 1955) is an American Real Estate Broker based in Orem, Utah.

Early life and education

Tanner was born in Logan, Utah, and was raised in various communities throughout the state. She graduated from Orem High School in 1973.[1] Tanner earned a Master's of Public Administration from Brigham Young University, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, and an Associate Degree in Business Management from Utah Technical College.[2]

Career

Tanner entered the real estate industry in 1982 and obtained her broker's license in 1986. She founded Summit Realty, Inc. and Summit Management, LLC, serving as President and Principal Broker of both businesses.[3]

Tanner has navigated the Utah housing market for over 40 years and is often consulted by local media outlets including Deseret News, KUTV News, and Utah Valley Magazine. [1] [4] [5] Tanner participates in the Utah Real Estate community and in national training programs through the Mike Ferry Organization and the Howard Brinton Real Estate Network.

Tanner received the Watkin's Business Woman of the Year Award in 1999. Tanner was also recognized as Realtor of the Year by the Utah Women's Council of Realtors. Tanner received The Lifetime Achievement Award from the Utah Central Association of Realtors in 2021.[6]

Personal life

Jean Tanner is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and resides in Utah.

Community involvement

Tanner has volunteered with organizations including the American Heart Association, the American Diabetes Tour de Cure, Kids on the Move, and United Way.[1]
