Johnny Michael Connell (born 22 August 2002) is an English cricketer who plays for Somerset County Cricket Club. He is a right-handed batsman and right arm medium pace bowler.
Career
Educated at Exeter University, Connell played minor counties cricket for Berkshire, making his debut in 2022 and captaining the county's T20 Cricket team in 2026. He played second-XI cricket for Sussex and Essex, prior to signing for Somerset County Cricket Club in 2026.[1][2] He was included in the county’s squad for the 2026 One-Day Cup.[3][4] He made his debut away against Nottinghamshire on 21 July 2026.[5]
