Kinverg is a Pakistani cybersecurity and governance, risk and compliance (GRC) consultancy headquartered in Lahore, with a commercial presence in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.[1][2]

History

Kinverg was examined as a case study of Pakistani "born global" firms — companies that internationalise from or shortly after founding — in a 2013 doctoral thesis at the Conservatoire national des arts et métiers in Paris, which profiled the firm's early export activity and professional network ties.[3]

In 2023, the company was among the recipients of a grant under the Ministry of Planning, Development and Special Initiatives' Pakistan Innovation Fund (PIF), a Rs 10 billion government programme that awarded grants of Rs 5–20 million to 39 projects selected from more than 1,000 applications.[4][5]

In 2025, Kinverg's compliance-automation product, ComplianceMachine.ai, was among seven Pakistani startups sponsored by Ignite – National Technology Fund to exhibit at the Gulf Information Security Expo and Conference (GISEC) in Dubai, where all seven reached the pitch-competition semi-finals.[2]

Activities

The company provides cybersecurity compliance, data privacy and related advisory services.[2] Its chief executive has been cited as an industry commentator on digital banking and financial-sector regulation in Pakistani media.[1]
