Krish Naik is an Indian educator, entrepreneur, and content creator known for his work in data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and software engineering education. He is a co-founder of iNeuron.ai (iNeuron Intelligence Private Limited), a Bengaluru-based edtech company acquired by Physics Wallah in December 2022.
Early life and education
Krish Naik holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree from PDA College of Engineering in Karnataka, India.[1]
Career
Prior to his entrepreneurial career, Naik worked as a data scientist and engineer in the corporate sector, including roles at Panasonic India and Ernst & Young (EY).[2] He later transitioned into educational content creation, producing tutorials and training programs covering machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and cloud computing.
iNeuron
In 2019, Naik co-founded iNeuron.ai (iNeuron Intelligence Private Limited) alongside Sudhanshu Kumar in Bengaluru.[2][3] The platform offered over 230 courses in data science, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data engineering, and software development, along with virtual computing labs, internship programs, and placement assistance. iNeuron raised a total of $3.61 million in funding, with investors including the S Chand Group and the Mukesh Sharma Family Trust.[4]
Acquisition by Physics Wallah
In December 2022, edtech unicorn Physics Wallah acquired iNeuron as part of its expansion into technology-focused professional upskilling.[5] As part of the deal, existing investors including the S Chand Group, S Chand's directors, and the Mukesh Sharma Family Trust collectively sold approximately 19.5% of their stake to Physics Wallah. S Chand received approximately ₹14 crore for its holdings, representing a roughly twofold return on its 2021 investment.[6] Following the acquisition, the iNeuron team was integrated into Physics Wallah's upskilling division, PW Skills.
KrishAI Technologies
Naik is also associated with KrishAI Technologies Private Limited, incorporated in 2020, which operates educational platforms under the Krish Naik Academy and krishnaik.in brands, offering training programs in generative AI, machine learning, MLOps, and cloud computing.[7]
Online presence
Naik operates educational channels and platforms covering artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, and career development. He is recognised as a prominent data science educator in India, with his YouTube channel cited among leading resources for deep learning and machine learning content.[8]
