Let's Split Up[1] is a young adult mystery horror thriller debut novel by British author Bill Wood. The novel is the first in a series of three novels: Let's Split Up (2024); Be Right Back[2] (2025): and One Last Scare[3] (2026). All books are published by Scholastic in the United Kingdom and the United States.
The story follows four teenagers, Cam, Jonesy, Amber, and Buffy, who live in the fictional town of Sanera, California. After the murder of it-couple Brad and Shelley, the town becomes convinced that the Carrington Ghoul, a supposed spirit haunting Carrington Manor, is responsible. As the killings continue, the gang must survive in order to solve the mystery.
Let's Split Up was the fastest-selling young adult debut of 2024 in the UK.[4] The novel is currently in development for a live-action television series by Scholastic Entertainment.[5]
