LinkSquares, Inc. is a software as a service (SaaS) company that develops legal workflow software.
History
LinkSquares was founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 2015 by current CEO Chris Combs and former CEO Vishal Sunak, the latter a cousin of former United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.[1].[2] The pair conceived of the LinkSquares solution while performing manual due diligence work as employees at another SaaS startup, Backupify,[3] which was preparing for acquisition by Datto.[4][5]
Fundraising timeline
As of February of 2026, LinkSquares has raised venture capital funding totaling approximately $160 million.[6]
- Seed Round (May 2018) - $2.16 million led by Regent Private Capital[7]
- Seed Extension (March 2019) - $4.8 million co-led by Hyperplane VC and MassMutual Ventures[8]
- Series A (February 2020) - $14.5 million led by Jump Capital[2]
- Series B (July 2021) - $40 million led by Sorenson Capital[9]
- Series C (April 2022) - $100 million co-led by G Squared and G2 Venture Partners[6]
Products
LinkSquares offers contract lifecycle management solutions[10] that employ artificial intelligence to assist in-house legal departments.[11][12][13] The company initially focused on contract analytics (their "LinkSquares Analyze" solution)[14][2]. Subsequent LinkSquares releases include contract drafting software (Linksquares "Finalize"), e-signature (LinkSquares "Sign"),[15] and project management tools (LinkSquares "Prioritize").[16]
Recognition
LinkSquares has been a member of the Inc. 5000 list every year since 2021.[17]
In 2022, 2023, and 2025, LinkSquares was in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500.[18][19]
In 2022, 2023, and 2025, Linksquares was names to the Inc. "Power Partners" list for leading SaaS companies[20]
In 2022, the company was named to Forbes' "Next Billion-Dollar Startups" list.[21]
