Luware AG (Luware) is a Swiss software company that provides cloud-based customer experience (CX), contact center, and call-recording technology to mid-sized and large sized businesses.[1] The company was founded in 2010 by Michael Jakob, Philipp Beck, Andreas Kobler.

History

Luware originated in 2010 as a bachelor thesis at Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil aimed at integrating contact center functions into unified communications. The company initially focused on on-premise solutions built on the Skype for Business platform.[2] In 2015, Luware was recognized as a Top 100 Microsoft Solution Provider for its expertise and contact center platform.

In 2020, the company launched its Luware Recording cloud-compliance and analytics platform powered by Verint.[3] Recording supports compliance with MiFID II, FINMA, GDPR, and Dodd-Frank regulations.[4]

In 2021, Luware released Nimbus, an in-house Teams-native contact-center solution based on Microsoft Azure architecture.[5]

In February 2024, Luware announced that co-founder Philipp Beck would be stepping down from his role, to be succeeded by Serge Gansner, founder of E2E Technologies. Beck remains a private shareholder.[6]

Operations

Luware is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, with additional offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Poland.[7]
