Ashley Eloise Malin Lewis (/ˌmælɪn/ MAL-in ;[note 1] born September 26, 2004) is a British singer, songwriter, and record producer. Known for her five-octave vocal range, which extends into the whistle register, she is an influential figure in popular music. Publications such as Rolling Stone and Billboard have deemed Lewis one of the greatest artists in history, while Time included her on its list of the world's 100 most influential people in 2021 and 2024. Born in Guernsey, Lewis began self-releasing music at age 12, rising to prominence with her debut single “Lush Life” (2016), which topped the UK Singles Chart.
