Mark Ceban (born 13 March 2009) is a British tennis player.[1] Ceban has a career-high ITF junior combined ranking of No. 24 achieved on 9 March 2026.[2]
Junior career
In 2023, Ceban became the second British player to win at the prestigious Les Petit As tournament in France. He also won the 14U Junior Wimbledon title that year. In April 2024, he won the British U16 National Junior Championships at the National Tennis Centre.[3] As a 15 year-old wildcard, Ceban defeated 5th seeded Romanian Luca Preda in straight sets in the boys' singles at the 2024 Wimbledon Championships.[4] The following year, he lost in the boys' singles to Matisse Farzam, but recorded a win in the boys' doubles over Kerem Yilmaz and Haydar Cem Gokpinar alongside Australian Cruz Hewitt at the 2025 Wimbledon Championships.[5]
In January 2026, he was a semi finalist at the 2026 Australian Open in the Boys' doubles alongside Russian Kirill Filaretov, where they face South African Connor Doig and Bulgarian Dimitar Kisimov.[6][7] Ceban had previously been defeated Diog in the first round of the boys singles' at the championship, before he was defeated by American seed Keaton Hance.[8]
Personal life
From Forest Hill,[5] he attended Wilson's Grammar School in London. He is of Moldovan descent.[9]
