McKinney Chupacabras FC is a semi-professional men's soccer club based in McKinney, Texas. Founded in 2024, it competes in USL League Two, an amateur league in the United States league system. It plays its home games at the 6988-capacity Ron Poe Stadium.

In September, 2024, Michael Hitchcock announced a fan vote for the branding of a semi-professional team in McKinney. The options for the branding were Historic McKinney FC, McKinney 1848 FC, McKinney FC, and McKinney Chupacabras FC..^[1]

In December 2024, the team was announced as joining USL League Two for the 2025 season. They were placed in the Mid-South Division and would host their home matches at Ron Poe Stadium.^[2][3] Jose Luis Burciaga was announced as their inaugural head coach in February 2025.^[4]

McKinney Chupacabras played their first game on May 21, 2025, losing 0-6 against Little Rock Rangers in an away game.^[5] Their first home game was a loss to Denton Diablos FC on May 24.^[6] Their first win overall came on June 3 against Red River FC on the road^[7], and their first home win came later that month on June 28th, again facing Red River FC^[8]

Their first season saw an average attendance of 3500, with a high of 4192 against Mississippi Brilla FC on May 29, 2025. They announced sales of 1046 season tickets.^[9]

Along with fellow former Mid-South Division team Denton Diablos FC, the Chupacabras moved to a new Texas-based division in USL League Two for 2026. The Ranger Division also included Texoma FC (dropping down from USL League One), West Texas FC, Lubbock Matadors SC, and Fort Worth Vaqueros FC.^[10]

In February 2026, McKinney Chupacabras announced that head coach Burciaga had left the club.^[11] Frank Yallop became the new head coach the following month.^[12]
