Merlons (Georgian: მერლონსი) is a Georgian retail and distribution brand for interior and exterior finishing materials, sanitary ware, furniture, lighting, kitchen products and related interior products. The company represents international brands in Georgia and works with retail customers, architects and interior designers.[1][2]
History
Merlons traces its business history to 2011, when the company began operating through Sharmi Group.[1] In 2012, it obtained exclusive representation of VitrA in Georgia and opened VitrA showrooms in Tbilisi and Batumi.[1]
In 2024, Merlons opened a multibrand showroom intended for architects, designers and retail customers.[1] In 2025, Georgian media described Merlons as a representative of international brands in sanitary ware, ceramic tiles, furniture, lighting and interior products.[2][3]
Operations
Merlons imports and distributes products for residential, commercial, hospitality and interior design projects in Georgia. Its product categories include ceramic tiles, kitchen sinks, mixers, bathroom equipment, furniture and lighting.[2]
The company's brand portfolio has included VitrA, Ascale, Infinity, Simas, Aquaforte, Schock, Meir, Dune, Carisa, Pedrali, Bolia, LTForm and Viokef.[2][3]
Merlons also provides services connected with product selection, delivery, installation and warranty support.[1]
Projects
Entrepreneur Georgia reported that Merlons products and services had been used in projects in Georgia including McDonald's, Best Western Batumi, Radisson Tbilisi, justice houses and Fabrika Hostel.[1]
