Navigator Global is a digital platform supporting small and medium sized businesses with international trade.

History

The service launched in the UK in November 2025 during International Trade Week in partnership with the UK Department of Business & Trade[1]. Navigator Global is an evolution of the Santander Navigator service which was operational in the UK from 2019 - 2025[2], and was sunset as part the global platform's launch.

Navigator Global is owned and operated by Santander.[3], a bank, and is built in partnership with dentsu[4], a media and technology company. The business is headquartered at 10 Triton St, Regents Place, London - with staff also operating in key markets around the world.

Operations and services

The platform supports businesses that produce physical goods across 19 sub-sectors as they grow into 40+ markets internationally[5]. It offers:

  1. Intelligence - Via its in-market network of trade experts and partners, sourcing insights on market demand and global trade developments for a SME audience.
  2. Coaching - Domestic-only UK firms in 2025 reported a crisis in confidence compared with those selling in multiple markets[6]. The Navigator Global platform contains an Action Plan tool, helping businesses to build and execute international expansion plans for their trade confidence level, sector, and target market.
  3. Connections - Over half of UK businesses say difficulty finding trusted local partners is a major blocker to international growth[7]. Navigator Global has >250 verified partners in-market who support businesses with services such as finding and verifying buyers, customs compliance, and logistics.[8]
  4. Events - Events and webinars that are themed around in-market demand and trends. These are produced and delivered in partnership with the network of local trade specialists.

Membership access

The service is available via a free Standard membership tier and a paid Premium membership tier , which includes access to connections and in-person events. The platform is open to all businesses in markets where it is live, not just clients of Santander bank.

Global availability and partnerships

The Navigator Global platform is also live in the US[9] in partnership with Santander US[10] and in Malaysia in partnership with MBSB[11].
