Nick Morrison (born June 29, 1982) is an American former professional bull rider, comedian, and public speaker. He competed in rodeo events during the early 2000s before retiring due to injuries. Following his rodeo career, he worked in Christian ministry and later pursued stand-up comedy and speaking engagements.[1][2]

Early life

Morrison was raised in a family involved in rodeo; his father competed in saddle bronc riding. He began participating in youth rodeo events at a young age and competed in junior circuits, including the National Little Britches Rodeo Association (NLBRA) and regional rodeo associations.[3]

Bull riding career

Morrison competed in amateur and regional rodeo competitions before transitioning to professional events in the early 2000s. He participated in events associated with Professional Bull Riders (PBR).[4]

During his career, Morrison sustained multiple injuries, including shoulder damage that required reconstructive surgery in 2003. He also experienced numerous concussions. His professional bull riding career ended in his early twenties due to the cumulative impact of injuries.[5]

Post-riding career

After retiring from bull riding, Morrison became involved in Christian ministry, serving in youth and worship leadership roles. In later years, he began performing stand-up comedy and working as a public speaker.[6] His performances and speaking engagements reference his experiences in rodeo and the effects of injuries sustained during his athletic career.[7]

Personal life

Morrison has spoken publicly about the long-term effects of repeated concussions sustained during his rodeo career. He is married and has children.
