Draft:OX Security

OX Security (or OX) is a cybersecurity company that develops application security tools to scan for vulnerabilities in software code.[1] It was founded in 2021 and has raised multiple funding rounds including $34 million in seed funding [2] and a $60 million Series B.[3]

History

OX Security was founded in 2021 by Neatsun Ziv and Lior Arzi, both former executives at Check Point Software Technologies.[4] The company was established following increased concerns around software supply chain security after high-profile incidents such as the SolarWinds attack.[5]

Products

OX Security provides application security tools focused on software supply chain security and application security posture management (ASPM).[6] [7] The company combines multiple security testing approaches, including static application security testing (SAST), software composition analysis (SCA), dynamic application security testing (DAST), and container security analysis. [8]

In 2025, OX Security launched an AI-based security agent that integrates with AI coding tools and development environments to help developers detect and remediate vulnerabilities during the coding process, especially in AI-generated code.[9]
