History
On December 3, 2025, the four current members of One Delta were removed by Mayor George Harvie from the Achieving for Delta slate.[3]
The four councillors accused Harvie of limiting communication and attempting to centralize decision-making within City Hall. These concerns were echoed by former Delta mayor Lois Jackson, who described Harvie’s leadership style as “dictatorial,” stating that “he does not know he is a servant” and that “he should resign.”[4]
Harvie removed the councillors without publicly citing a specific reason, however stating the group of four “did their best to isolate and sideline me and get me removed from Metro Vancouver,” and that they should not be surprised they were removed from his party.[5]
