Parantap Bhatt is a designer, researcher, and educator based in Toronto, Canada. Bhatt holds a Master’s in Architecture with a specialization in Emerging Technologies & Design from the Architectural Association in London and a professional Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. He is recognized for his research on the application of augmented reality (AR), mixed reality, and other advanced technologies to design, with a focus on user-centered, innovative, and culturally sensitive spatial solutions.[6]

Professionally, Bhatt is a design lead at NORR Architects & Engineers, contributing to multiple large-scale projects and was notably the project lead for the redevelopment of Toronto’s historic regent theatre.[7][8][9] He has an international portfolio, including projects and collaborations in Canada, India, Germany, Dubai, and the UK. His research and teaching have been presented at various universities worldwide.

His research interests include the SObiT model (Sociology, Biology, and Technology), generative design, digital fabrication, biomimicry approaches, and the integration of technology with traditional and vernacular design methods. Additionally, Bhatt has conducted lectures and workshops at multiple global institutions and maintains an active role in academia and design consultancy.[10]
