  • Comment: Realistically this may be better off as a section within Morningstar. The reason being that for a standalone article this needs to meet the requirements of WP:SIRS. See that section and the two sections below on corporate depth and corporate trivia. So M&A is by definition trivia, which knocks out 4 sources. What is left is well short on the need for corporate depth. It's not surprising, most companies, like most people, will not be notable enough for a standalone article. History

PitchBook was founded in 2007 by John Gabbert [3] as a provider of data on private equity and venture capital markets.

In 2016, PitchBook was acquired by Morningstar, Inc., a publicly traded financial services firm, for 225 million USD.[4] [5] [6]

Products and services

PitchBook develops proprietary databases and analytical tools on private-market activity. Its platforms aggregate information on companies, investors, funds, deals, valuations, and exits, drawing from regulatory filings, public disclosures, and independent research.[7]

PitchBook publishes periodic reports on venture capital, private equity, and emerging technology sectors.
