Comment: Multiple references that provide extensive coverage about Pocketed via independent, reliable sources are required to establish notabality. (Four of the eight references used are via BetaKit -- which is great, but very niche -- and two are press releases; none confirm notability.) JSFarman (talk) 16:40, 21 October 2025 (UTC)

Pocketed is a Canadian software company that operates a platform matching businesses with non-dilutive funding, including government grants, tax credits and other incentives.[1][2] In March 2025, Deloitte Canada acquired Pocketed for an undisclosed amount and integrated it into its Global Investment and Innovation Incentives (Gi³) practice under the brand "Pocketed, a Deloitte business".[3][2]
History
Pocketed was founded in 2020 by Brianna Blaney and Aria Hahn.[1] The company launched a software platform to profile businesses and recommend eligible grants and tax credits, later adding a services marketplace to support applications.[1]
In October 2021, Pocketed closed an oversubscribed seed round of about C$1 million led by WUTIF Capital with participation from investors including Women’s Equity Lab, Hustle Fund and New Avenue Capital, in part to support expansion into the United States.[1]
Pocketed was named a Top 10 finalist in the 2021 New Ventures BC competition.[4][5]
On 10 March 2025, Deloitte Canada announced its acquisition of Pocketed (deepND Inc.). Deloitte stated that Pocketed’s AI-enabled matching technology would expand the firm’s grants and Scientific Research and Experimental Development Tax Credit offerings, and that the Pocketed team, including the co-founders, would join Deloitte while the brand continues as "Pocketed, a Deloitte business" within the Gi³ practice.[2][3]
Products and services
Pocketed’s core product is an online matching platform that connects companies with relevant grants, tax credits and incentives; the firm also operates a services marketplace (such as grant writing) to support applications.[1] Prior to acquisition, Pocketed monetized via premium tiers and marketplace transaction fees, while offering a free tier for basic matching.[1] After the acquisition, Deloitte indicated the platform would continue to serve customers and be integrated into its Gi³ practice.[3][2]
