PowsUp! is an Italian non-profit furry association based in Rome, Italy. Its main mission is to organize furry events and furmeets, with a particular focus on central and southern Italy.^[1]

PowsUp! was founded in the summer of 2023 as a group of volunteers, aiming to meet the growing demand for furry meets in the capital and the surrounding regions.^[1] That same year it held its first furmeet in Rome (CoMeets I, October 2023)^[2], its first Halloween event (AoWeen)^[3], and the first edition of the New Year's Eve Night.^[4]

Throughout 2024 the association established itself, with a regular cycle of CoMeets during the major conventions and the return of the AoWeen and Night events.

In October 2025, PowsUp! was formally established as an Associazione di Promozione Sociale (APS).^[5] This recognition allowed the association to expand its collaborations, organizing the 2026 edition of the Night as a multi-day event held in a hotel.^[6]

PowsUp! organizes two recurring formats.

The association's flagship event, traditionally held in Rome during the end-of-year holidays. Originally a single New Year's Eve party, from the 2026 edition it became a multi-day, convention-style event held in a hotel.^[6] The event features a Dealers' Den (an area for artists and makers), a Fursuit Lounge, and a bar serving classic cocktails and exclusive recipes created for the occasion.

CoMeets are gatherings held alongside the major Italian comics and pop-culture conventions, giving the community a place to socialize and fursuit. The conventions involved include:

• Festival del Fumetto di Novegro (Segrate, Milan)
• Comicon (Naples)

A Halloween-themed event held in Rome. No edition has been held since 2024.

Since 2026 the association has been run by a Board of Directors made up as follows:
