RightCrowd is an Australia-based enterprise software company that develops physical access control and identity and access management systems for large organizations. The RightCrowd SmartAccess platform is used for workforce and visitor access, credential management, compliance auditing, and integration with enterprise identity systems. [1][2]
The company operates internationally and serves regulated industries including financial services, technology, data centers, critical infrastructure including utilities and power generation, healthcare, mining, defense contract and higher education.
History
RightCrowd was founded in Australia in 2004 under the name Sentrii. In February 2006, Sentrii was acquired by Virsa Systems, which was later acquired by SAP as part of its governance, risk, and compliance business.[3]
In 2018, RightCrowd acquired OffSite Vision Holdings, a United States–based provider of real-time location and safety monitoring solutions, and Ticto, a Belgium-based developer of wearable security and location-monitoring technology.[4]
On September 25, 2023, private equity firm Bloom Equity Partners acquired RightCrowd’s physical identity and access management business and the RightCrowd name, while the company’s remaining digital security operations were reorganized under a new name.[5]
